For crew growing up on the Leisure Coast, the south coast getaway has been a long-held tradition, from family vacations through to weekend surf trips. The NSW south coast is dotted with an array of amazing seaside communities to visit and heading into this summer, Wollongong based record label Farmer & The Owl are loading up the van with some of our favourite local artists to visit some of the best south coast locations.
The Pinheads, Tropical Strength and The M1 will be making their way down the Princes Highway to stop off at Kiama, Milton, Bermagui and Merimbula over three weekends across November and December. Along the way they will be joined by local favourites The Morning Star, NEIS (Jacky Wünder x Stella Red) and The Economy with the Farmer & The Owl crew also heading along with a pop-up stall at each events featuring wares from the artists playing and limited edition posters alongside vinyl from their whole catalogue and a range of freshly minted label merchandise.
The Pinheads recently released their third album The Mirror and backed it with national capital cities tour as well as some festival appearances, and are now ready to take the new songs further afield, while Tropical Strength have just completed work on their second album, with their first new music since 2019 set to drop real soon.
