The physical release for Wollongong’s heavy hitting hardcore band L.O.W’s debut EP ‘Ruination’ is out today!
In a short time, L.O.W have eared a reputation for their explosive live shows and an impressive list of acts they’ve supported, including Speed, Xibalba, Volatile Ways, Fleshwater and Terminal Sleep. Ruination marks the band’s first recorded material as a full unit, delivering a fierce mix of hardcore, punk and thrash with ruthless intensity. Described by the band as “Neanderthal Hardcore”.
‘Ruination’ was recorded over two days with Dan Antix at Def Wolf Studios in Kurnell. It is their first recorded material as a full band! The artwork was done by Owen Jackson (@habitholes) from High Hopes Tattoo.
This release also marks the debut of Fowl Taset, a new heavy music label from Wollongong, dedicated to amplifying local talent while shining light on the best heavy music Australia has to offer. You can expect to see more exclusive releases very soon from Fowl Taste.
