Hockey Dad announce USA tour

After introducing themselves at CMJ 2015 and following it up at SXSW 2016, then backing it up with a full national tour in support of their debut album 'Boronia' last August, Hockey Dad are returning to the USA for the fourth time this March to play a string of shows leading into their performances at SXSW.

Released in North America via Kanine Records, the bands album has attracted strong press and landed the band on top of the FMQB Sub Modern Radio Chart.

"The Australian duo's pop-punk bursts with chunky guitars and big riffs as they collide with yowling vocals and firecracker drumming. It's the perfect sun-streaked soundtrack for skinned-knee skate videos and beach bonfires at dusk; for staying out late and sleeping in later, only to do it all over again the next day."

"These are tall-can songs, cuts for open window driving down the highway, music that never tries to be anything more than two guys providing the soundtrack to their own small-town story."
Consequence Of Sound

"The 11 songs on the album bounce with the excitement and innocence of two best friends doing what they love best (or at least second-best; they do seem to be pretty good at surfing). "

Touring in support of the album, the Australian duo drove coast to coast across the USA and Canada playing shows to a growing fan base. Hockey Dad now return to play some shows across Atlanta and Florida, before heading to South By Southwest in Austin.
