Out today is an incredible collab single between Russell W (Shining Bird, Tropical Strength) and Noa Deane(Blistar), originally commissioned for the James Kates surf film ‘ Stimulant’, it is streaming everywhere today via the Silhouette Label.
Speaking about the track, Russell W says "I met Noz through James Kates and became a fan of his band ‘Blistar’ straight away. We would make plans to collaborate and he would send me these awesome demos, but life kept getting in the way. Days In the Sun is our first collaboration and was written with the intention of soundtracking Jimbo and Noa’s film “ Stimulant”. He basically sent me the parts and I took it and ran with it. Definitely keen to do more in the future. There’s a similarity in what we’re chasing in a song so it came together super quick.
